The film stars Anupam Kher in the lead role as Pushkar Nath, a native of Kashmir who lives with his grandson during the 1990 Genocide.

Since 1990, he has been living in his own country as a refugee, and his demand is that the government should remove Article 370 and merge Kashmir with India.

Pushkar Nath's grandson is a college student, who has a leftist ideology in his college, and he also gets influenced by the Left ideology. Darshan Kumar whose name is Krishna in the film has played this character.
